Volleyball Tryouts! 🏐

ATTENTION current 6th and 7th grade girls:
Tryout packets for the 2026-2027 DMS Volleyball are available for pickup from Coach Yarber or Coach Klobe!
A skills clinic will be held on Wednesday, April 1 to introduce and review fundamental volleyball skills. Athletes will then have spring break to practice and prepare.
Official tryouts will be held Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14 from 3:00–5:00 PM in the DMS gym. Attendance on all days is mandatory. Closed tryouts will be enforced.
Tryout Requirements:
· A current physical must be on file to participate.
· Students must maintain an overall average of 70 or higher.
· Students with 18 or more demerits are not eligible.
· All paperwork must be fully completed and turned in prior to tryouts.
DMS Volleyball is a commitment. Our season begins immediately at the start of the school year, which means preparation starts early. Summer practices will be held to build skills and team chemistry. Attendance is not required until mid-July; however, understand that playing time is earned through practice, effort, and dedication!
If selected for the team, athletes must attend a MANDATORY clinic on Monday, June 29 and Tuesday, June 30, followed by summer practices throughout July.
All tryout paperwork is due to Coach Yarber no later than 3:00 PM on Monday, March 29, 2026.
